Most farmers fail their first organic inspection on paperwork, not on practice. This batch is about the paperwork. Day one: the farm diary — what to write, when, and what an inspector actually looks for. Day two: input records and the internal control system for group certification. Day three: a mock inspection where I go through your file the way an inspector would. Bring whatever records you already keep, even if they are on loose paper. We will work with what you have rather than starting from a blank format. Fee covers material and lunch. It does not cover travel or the certification fee itself. If you are not already farming organically, this is the wrong batch for you — come to the conversion one instead.
